When cleaning, first stop the platter and leave the cartridge stationary on the rest or above the record. Place the brush bristles underneath the stylus and gently pull it from back to front, in the same direction that the stylus follows the groove of the record. Repeat the stroke several times and lightly tap the bristles between strokes to prevent the dust from returning to the needle. Clean the stylus gently, without pressure and without lateral movement. After use, store the brush in a clean and dry place, preferably in a box or with other turntable accessories, to prevent dust from entering the bristles. You can keep the second brush from the package ready for another turntable or use it as a replacement.
