With the release of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands in March 2017, Ubisoft Paris successfully rebooted the Ghost Recon formula. This installment, designed from the ground up for the new generation, features a massive and visually stunning open world that can be played solo or online in co-op for four players. Now, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint puts you in the boots of the Ghosts, an elite American special operations unit stranded behind enemy lines. This time, there is no briefing. All contact with Aurora has been lost. This archipelago is home to Skell Technology, a high-tech company. You are sent there with your unit on a reconnaissance mission, but your helicopters are shot down: Skell Tech has fallen into the wrong hands. The Wolves, a deadly ex-American military unit gone rogue, have taken over the island. Led by your former brother-in-arms, Colonel Cole D. Walker, they have reprogrammed Skell's drones into killing machines and are ready to use them regardless of the casualties. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a military shooter set in a diverse, hostile, and mysterious open world that you can play entirely solo or in co-op for four players. Injured, unsupported, and hunted by former ghosts, you must fight for survival as you are lost in Aurora. Choose the right alliances and decide how to defeat your toughest enemy.

The Wolves were once you. They have the same training and experience as you. They have seized the Aurora archipelago and taken control of the island's most important resources: drones. And they are led by your former brother-in-arms, Colonel Cole D. Walker, leaving you with no choice but to confront your former teammate.
  • Live the life of a true ghost stranded behind enemy lines – Test your survival skills and adapt to the diverse terrains of Aurora. Steep slopes, accumulating injuries, and fatigue are new challenges you must face. Set up camp with your teammates, manage your gear, class, and weapons in your bivouac, and fine-tune your strategies. If you are injured in battle, you will need to crawl to safety to heal, or if a teammate falls, you must pick them up and carry them to safety before treating their injuries. Use new tools like the mini-drone, which allows you to synchronise fire on multiple targets, even in single-player mode.
  • Customise your ghost and experience full freedom of approach – Create your character and choose from thousands of customisation combinations to create your perfect Ghost. Loot materials from the world, craft and upgrade your weapons with various attachment options, and customise your gear to adapt your ghost to any situation and suit your play style. Experiment with a completely new class system that provides you with more ways to defeat your enemies. Want to play assault? You can go all out. Want to play as a sniper? You can get special ammunition that gives you greater range and accuracy. You can also play stealthy with the Panther class and use a smoke bomb to evade your enemies.
