The Storm Glass Skull is an unusual decoration that also serves as a simple weather indicator. Inside the sealed glass vessel is a liquid in which crystals form and dissolve according to changes in temperature and atmospheric conditions. The skull itself measures 10 x 9 cm and is set in a wooden base with a recess that holds it securely. The base is approximately 3.5 cm high. The appearance inside changes from day to day, from clear liquid to dense white crystals that fill the skull up to its eyes.
The principle of storm glass dates back to the 18th century when similar bottles were used as aids for weather prediction. In clear and calm weather, the liquid is clear, while in warming conditions, small particles may float within it. Before rain or snow, star-shaped and feather-like crystals form, and in overcast conditions, the liquid becomes cloudy. The development of the crystals cannot be precisely predicted, making the observation of the skull a small daily spectacle. The vessel is made of glass with sculpted eye sockets, cheekbones, and teeth.

Place the skull in a stable position where it will not be exposed to impacts or falls. The most pronounced crystals form where the temperature changes throughout the day, such as near a window, but not in direct sunlight or near heating. The glass only needs to be occasionally wiped with a soft dry cloth, and the base should be kept dry. Do not open the vessel; the liquid inside is not intended for contact with skin or ingestion. When carrying, hold the skull with both hands and do not lift it only by the base. Keep out of reach of small children and pets. Protect the base from moisture and do not place the skull on unstable or sloped surfaces.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.
- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.
