Do you need to recess a light strip of 40 mm width into the ceiling or wall? The white silicone LED profile with a trim has a body 40 x 20 mm, which inserts into a groove, and a trim width of 44 mm on top. The trim lies on the surface after installation and covers the edges of the groove. Inside the profile, there is an additional diffusion layer beneath the trim, so the light from the LED strip passes through two layers of silicone. The profile is flexible, white, and comes in a length of 2 m without an LED strip.
- Double Diffuser — The upper trim serves as the first diffuser. Beneath it, inside the profile, is a second diffusion part with a curved bottom surface that disperses the light from the LED strip even before it reaches the trim.
- Dimensions — The body of the profile is 40 mm wide and 20 mm high, the trim measures 44 mm, and the length of the profile is 2 m.
- Trim 44 mm — The trim extends approximately 2 mm beyond the body on each side. Its upper surface is slightly arched and the edges are rounded.
- Height 20 mm — Thanks to the height of 20 mm, there is ample space between the LED strip and the upper trim for both diffusion layers.
- Installation in Groove — The side walls have rounded protrusions on the outside and wider feet at the bottom with a serrated surface. When pressed, they help keep the profile in place.
- Flexible Silicone — The profile is made of flexible silicone and can be run straight or in curves, for example along rounded walls, counters, or curved ceilings.
- Installation — Route a groove approximately 40 mm wide and 20 mm deep and remove any dust. Insert the LED strip into the profile and press the profile into the groove until the trim rests on the surface.
- White Colour — The white trim matches white ceilings, plasterboard, plaster, and light furniture after installation.
- Length 2 m — A 2 m long profile can cover a section of ceiling above a dining table, work surface, or counter in a shop with one piece.
