Overview
Self-Watering Planter with Bottom Water Reservoir Measuring 11 x 10.5 cm with Diamond Relief, Cylindrical Shape and Wide Rim

The plastic planter with a self-watering system is divided into two parts, where the upper part holds the plant with substrate and the lower part serves as a water reservoir, from which the plant draws moisture through a wick. Both parts fit together, and their connection is visible as a horizontal line approximately halfway up, allowing the container to be disassembled at any time for cleaning each part separately. The walls are adorned with a dense diamond relief, whose small pyramids refract light and give the surface texture to the touch, making the container easier to grip than a smooth wall. The top edge transitions into a wide flat rim that aligns with the edge of the inner pot and keeps it in precise position. The container measures 11 cm in height and 10.5 cm in diameter, giving it the shape of a low cylinder without tapering, ensuring stability even on a windowsill.

  • Diamond Relief of the Walls – a regular grid of small pyramids covers the surface all around, creating a play of light and shadow, making the container appear less like a smooth cup, and small smudges on the wall are not immediately visible.
  • Bottom Water Reservoir – the reserve is held in the lower part beneath the planter, allowing the plant to gradually absorb moisture, shifting watering from a daily rhythm to several-day intervals, which is particularly useful during the heating season.
  • Wick Between the Reserve and the Soil – the cord connects the substrate with the water in the lower part and, through capillary action, sends moisture to the roots, keeping the soil moist without top watering and without alternating between dryness and saturation.
  • Divided Container Construction – the upper and lower parts separate by pulling upwards, making it easier to refill water, check the reserve, and clean the reservoir before the next season without emptying the substrate.
  • Size 11 x 10.5 cm – the low cylinder with a diameter exceeding ten centimetres can accommodate even a more sprawling plant while fitting on a windowsill, on the edge of a bookshelf, or among decorations on a sideboard.
  • Wide Flat Rim – the reinforced edge around the perimeter maintains the shape of the container, serves as a grip when removing the upper part, and prevents the wall from bending inwards when lifted.
  • Cylindrical Shape Without Tapering – straight walls allow containers to be placed closely next to each other in a row on the windowsill, utilising the entire length of the surface without waste.
  • Washable Plastic Surface – the smooth areas between the relief can be wiped with a sponge, and dried droplets from watering as well as soil residues can be removed from the surface with plain water.

Package Contents:

  • 1x self-watering planter

The planter is suitable for both home and office, on windowsills, bookshelves, cabinets in the hallway, or on a desk next to a monitor. Before planting, it is advisable to fit the upper part dry and check that it fits into the lower part evenly and without play, as a crookedly placed pot is harder to remove. It is advisable to refill water into the lower part after removing the upper part, not through the substrate, to prevent the soil from compacting unnecessarily and to allow the reserve to be estimated. It is good to choose a permeable substrate, as roots struggle to breathe in constantly damp soil without the addition of perlite or coarse sand. Every few weeks, it is beneficial to empty the reservoir, rinse it with clean water, and refill it to prevent the accumulation of fertiliser residues.
