The self-watering flower pot makes caring for houseplants easier, as the outer casing serves as a water reservoir and the inner insert with the plant is simply placed into it. Such a self-watering system, also referred to as self-watering pots, helps maintain moisture in the substrate even on days when watering is forgotten. The pot measures 12 x 11.5 cm and has a cylindrical shape with a prominent relief of raised bubbles around the entire circumference. The plastic body is suitable for indoor use on a table, shelf, or windowsill, where the pot also serves as a decorative cover for smaller houseplants. Thanks to the separate insert, the plant can be removed at any time along with the root ball without needing to be repotted or disturbing the substrate.
- Water Reservoir – water is poured into the space in the outer casing, from where it gradually reaches the substrate in the inner pot. Therefore, watering is not required as frequently as with a regular pot, and the roots have access to a supply of moisture even between waterings. It is sufficient to regularly check and replenish the water level in the reservoir.
- Inner Pot – the removable insert can be easily pulled out of the casing, making it easier to refill water, check the roots, and change the substrate. The insert rests with its edge on the top rim of the casing, so it remains suspended above the water reservoir. Both the casing and insert can also be rinsed separately after removing the plant.
- Bottom Holes – the bottom of the inner insert is perforated with a series of radially arranged holes through which moisture reaches the roots. Excess water after watering flows down into the reservoir and does not remain standing directly in the substrate. The holes are distributed across the entire surface of the bottom from the centre to the edge.
- Decorative Appearance – the outer casing is adorned with regular rows of raised dots, giving the pot a distinctive look. The relief covers the entire height of the casing from the bottom to just below the top edge. On a table or shelf, the pot thus serves as a decoration even without a plant and combines well with other accessories.
- For Houseplants – the pot is suitable for smaller flowering and green houseplants. It fits well on a desk in an office, a shelf in the living room, a windowsill, or a bedside table, wherever a smaller plant is to be displayed in a decorative cover.
- Choice of Colour – the pot is available in several colours, allowing it to be adapted to the colour scheme of the room or furniture. Multiple pieces in different shades can create a vibrant arrangement on a windowsill or shelf, while the same colours appear uniform.
Contents of the Package:
- 1x self-watering flower pot
The self-watering flower pot combines a practical water reservoir with a decorative cover that looks good on a table or shelf and does not require a saucer. The insert with holes in the bottom can be removed at any time, allowing for quick and easy refilling of water, checking of roots, and changing of substrate without spilling soil. The casing in plastic design features a bubble relief, making the pot look decorative even when the plant is not in bloom. The dimensions of 12 x 11.5 cm are suitable for smaller houseplants, and with the availability of multiple colours, the pot can find a place in the living room, bedroom, or study. It is supplied as a standalone pot without plants and substrate, allowing you to plant your own favourite houseplant immediately.
