The rainbow tapping cutter with a single tooth is designed for milling metric thread M14 x 2 mm on CNC milling machines and machining centres. The tool body is made of sintered carbide, a hard material commonly used for precision cutting tools. The cutting head and neck have a coloured coating, while the shank is silver without coating. The thread is formed not by a tap but by helical milling, which is controlled by the machine's program. The cutter is clamped via a cylindrical shank with a diameter of 12 mm.
