The wooden cage combines a closed house with a well-lit run, connected by two ramps and an intermediate platform, allowing the animal to utilise the entire volume of the cage rather than just staying on the floor. The overall dimensions of 110 x 50 x 86 cm divide the space into a shaded area for sleeping and an open area where the animal can see outside through the wire mesh and has plenty of room for running and feeding. The frame is made from solid fir wood, complemented by metal mesh and wheels with brakes, ensuring the assembly stands firmly in place and can be moved without lifting or strenuous pulling. The openable roof above both sections allows access from above for feeding and cleaning, while the doors to the house and run are secured with a latch that can be operated with one hand. It is recommended to regularly let rabbits out, as the cage serves as accommodation and a base, not as the only place of residence throughout the day. The suitable placement is on a flat and stable surface away from direct sunlight and drafts, with bedding evenly spread across the tray and food and water within reach of both sections.
