The portable charger for electric vehicles with a Type 1 J1772 connector allows you to charge your electric car or plug-in hybrid directly from a standard domestic socket with a Schuko plug. The control unit allows you to set the charging current in steps of 6, 8, 10, 13, and 16 A with a power of up to 3.6 kW. The display shows the set current, voltage, current power, temperature, charging time, and energy consumed. The 5 m long cable reaches from the socket to the vehicle's charging port in the garage, at home, or at the cottage. The black charger with an IP66 rating is suitable for use at home and on the go as a backup charging solution.
- Charging from a standard socket — The charger plugs into a standard socket with a Schuko plug, so you do not need a wallbox or special connection. It operates within a voltage range of 85 to 265 V and at a frequency of 50 or 60 Hz.
- Adjustable current — Use the button on the control unit to switch the charging current between 6, 8, 10, 13, and 16 A. Choose a lower current for older electrical installations or when used alongside other appliances on the same circuit.
- Display and LED indication — The display shows the set current, voltage, power, temperature, charging time, and energy consumed in kWh. The light strip on the front indicates the charging status, readiness, and any errors.
- IP66 resistance — The control unit has an IP66 rating against dust and strong water jets, allowing it to be used outdoors. It can withstand a drop from a height of 1 m and being run over by a vehicle weighing 2 t.
- Type 1 connector — The connector conforms to the J1772 standard and is designed for vehicles with a Type 1 socket. It features copper contacts with a silver-plated surface and a mechanical latch that holds the connector in the vehicle during charging. A protective cap is included.
- Cable — The charging cable measures 5 m and has copper conductors with a cross-section of 3G 2.5 mm² + 2 x 0.5 mm². The cable length provides ample space when parking at home or in the garage.
- Wall mounting — On the back of the control unit, there is a hole for wall mounting, so you can keep the charger handy in the garage without it lying on the ground.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.
- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.
- Send us the proof of dispatch with the tracking number – this lets us refund you without waiting for the parcel to arrive.

How does it work?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and a description of the problem, and attach photographs or a video.
- We will assess it and suggest a solution. Photographs are usually enough – please do not send the goods back until you have received instructions from us.
- We will settle your claim within 30 days at the latest – with a new item, a price reduction or a refund.
If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
ExchangesA different size, colour or variant
Write to us within 30 days of receipt at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the variant you are interested in. We usually reply within 24 hours.
If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
