The portable cage for butterflies and insects is a practical aid for anyone who enjoys observing nature up close. The house, shaped like a cottage, measures 20 x 15 x 13.5 cm, making it spacious enough for caterpillars, butterflies, beetles, grasshoppers, and other small inhabitants of the garden. The walls and roof are made of breathable mesh, which ensures a constant flow of air while also allowing for an unobstructed view inside. The sturdy handle on the roof makes it easy to carry during walks, outings, or while working in the garden. The cage is suitable for short-term observation, monitoring the development of a caterpillar into a butterfly, and serves as an illustrative tool for learning about nature.
The construction is made of lightweight plastic and, due to its folding design, takes up little space when stored. On the side, there is a circular transparent window that allows insects to be observed from another angle. The firm base maintains its shape, and the cage stands stably on a table, windowsill, or in the grass. The mesh walls allow air to pass through, making the environment inside more pleasant for the insects than in a closed container.

Observing insects is a fun way to get to know the nature around us better. In the cage, you can watch how a caterpillar feeds, how it pupates, and how a butterfly eventually emerges from the chrysalis. It also works well for a brief examination of a beetle or grasshopper found in the garden, which can then be released back into nature. Thanks to the mesh walls, everything is clearly visible from all sides, and the insects have plenty of air. The house is lightweight and compact, making it easy to take with you to the cottage, meadow, or forest.
If you are looking for a simple and practical cage for butterflies and insects, this house with a handle is a good choice. It combines a folding plastic construction with breathable walls and compact dimensions, suitable for most small insects. The handle on the roof facilitates carrying outdoors and storage at home on a shelf. The cage will be appreciated by all who wish to observe nature up close and gently. After the observation is finished, it can simply be folded and stored for the next season.
