The pocket press for flowers is a small wooden aid for anyone who enjoys collecting and drying plants while on a walk or trip. It measures 6.5 x 6.5 cm, making it easy to fit into a pocket, backpack, or handbag, and thanks to the jute cord, you can carry it as a pendant. The top board is decorated with a laser-engraved motif of wildflowers, which also makes the press a lovely accessory. You place small flowers, leaves, or grasses between the boards and by tightening the four screws, you can compress them evenly. It is suitable for both children and adults who want to create their own herbarium or craft with pressed plants.

The press consists of two wooden boards with holes in the corners through which four screws pass. A washer and wing nut are placed on each screw, which can be tightened by hand without tools, allowing you to easily adjust the pressure to the thickness of the plants. When pressing, place the plant between two sheets of absorbent paper, insert them between the boards, and gradually and evenly tighten the nuts in a cross pattern. Absorbent paper or cardboard is not included in the package; you can use filter paper, paper napkins, or thin cardboard cut to the size of the boards. Leave the press with the plants in a dry place and regularly check if the plants are sufficiently dried. Wipe the wooden boards with a dry cloth and do not store the press in damp conditions.
