Overview
Metal Circular Knitting Needle Diameter 10.0 mm Length 43 cm Stainless Steel Tips Connected by Flexible Cable For Smaller Circumferences

The circular needle size 10.0 mm allows you to knit without side seams and without transferring work between several needles. The tips are made of stainless steel and are connected by a flexible cable. The knitted fabric slides freely along it, and when working in rows, it rests in your lap instead of your hands. The length of 43 cm makes the needle suitable for a certain size of products. It is suitable for home knitting as well as for craft courses.

The diameter of 10.0 mm is most commonly used for bulky and chunky yarn, from which blankets, large cowls, scarves, or ponchos are quickly created. Thick needles create large stitches, so even larger pieces grow quickly, and the resulting fabric is fluffy and pronounced. You can find the recommended needle size on the label of each ball of yarn, so you can easily check that the needle is suitable for the chosen yarn. When selecting, also consider the length of 43 cm. A shorter length is suitable for knitting in the round for projects with a smaller circumference, such as hats, cowls, or headbands, where a longer cable would be cumbersome. The cable between the tips also allows you to spread the stitches as needed and continuously check the fabric.

A great advantage of the circular needle is that the knitted fabric does not have to hang from your hands. When knitting in rows, the work simply turns, and its weight shifts to the cable, which rests in your lap. When knitting in the round, a continuous tube is created without seams, eliminating the need for later sewing of pieces. One circular needle can thus often replace a pair of straight needles as well as a set of double-pointed needles, taking up minimal space in your knitting supplies.

After finishing your work, wipe the needle with a dry cloth and store it loosely coiled to prevent the cable from breaking unnecessarily. Store it separately from other needles in a case or basket to avoid scratching the tips. If the cable is coiled after unpacking, you can briefly immerse it in warm water and let it straighten out. This treated needle will be ready for your next project whenever you need it.

If you are knitting blankets, chunky scarves, and large cowls, a needle with a diameter of 10.0 mm and a length of 43 cm will serve you well. The stainless steel tips connected by flexible cable allow for smooth work in both the round and in rows. You can easily transport the needle along with your ongoing project. In the package, you will receive 1 circular knitting needle. It is a useful addition for every knitter who wants to have this size in their supplies.
