The Edison bulb features a tubular shape T225 with a narrow glass envelope that is rounded at the top. Inside, a long filament runs in several vertical strands almost from the top to the base. When lit, the strands glow along their entire length, and the tube acts as a vertical strip of warm light. The brass base with an E27 thread has nearly the same width as the glass tube. The entire bulb operates at a voltage of 220 V and has a power rating of 40 W.
- Length of the Tube — with the same width of 3 cm, the T225 tube is 10 cm longer than the T10 bulb. The total height including the base is 22.5 cm.
- Vertical Strands — the strands of filament run parallel to the axis of the tube and are secured at several points by small hooks. This keeps the filament taut along its entire length.
- Upper and Lower Mounting — at the top, the strands converge to a small holder beneath the rounded top, while at the bottom they transition into two supply wires leading to the glass foot.
- Dimensions — with dimensions of 3 x 22.5 cm, the bulb protrudes significantly downwards or upwards from the socket, depending on how the light fitting is oriented. For pendants and wall arms, ensure that nothing obstructs it.
- Thread and Printing — the E27 thread fits standard sockets, and the brass base has printed information about voltage and power.
- Consumption — three bulbs in one fitting will consume a total of 120 W, thus using 0.12 kWh per hour. For all-day lighting, an LED source is more suitable; this bulb should mainly be used in the evening as decoration.
- Strip of Light — the long tube shines along its entire height, making it appear as a vertical line of light in the fitting.
- Warm Glow — the filament glows yellow-orange, making the bulb more suitable for evening lighting than for work illumination.
- View of the Strands — the thin glass tube leaves the filament exposed from the top to the foot.
- Careful Handling — when screwing in, do not press on the top end of the long tube; turn the bulb by the lower part at the base. Allow it to cool down after use.
- For Pendant Lights — it is best showcased in a pendant on a cable, where it hangs vertically downwards and is fully visible. It is also suitable for wall arms with an open socket.
- Multiple Bulbs — in a series of pendants above a bar or table, several T225 tubes create vertical lines of light.

How do I return goods?
