The full spectrum LED grow light is a practical solution for anyone growing plants at home and needing to provide them with more light. The bulb screws into a standard E27 socket and, with a power of 18 W, can provide supplementary light for herbs, seedlings, vegetables, and houseplants. The light resembles natural daylight, making it suitable for living spaces. It is useful during the winter months, on dark windowsills, and in grow boxes. The flat shape with a reflector directs light downwards directly onto the plants.
The light source consists of 96 SMD2835 LED chips distributed across the entire surface. The spectrum combines warm white 3000 K and cool white 5000 K, supplemented by diodes with wavelengths of 395 nm, 660 nm, and 730 nm. The result is a full spectrum that covers both the blue and red areas essential for leaf growth and flower formation. The body of the light fixture is made of aluminium, which helps dissipate heat, and the LED chips are covered by a transparent polycarbonate cover. Simply screw the bulb into a table, pendant, or clip lamp with an E27 socket and direct it towards the plants. Adjust the distance from the leaves according to the type of plant and its light requirements; young seedlings can usually tolerate a shorter distance than mature plants. You can conveniently control the lighting with a standard switch or a timer socket to ensure the plants have a regular daily cycle. Always turn off the light fixture and allow it to cool before handling. Wipe the LED cover with a dry soft cloth to remove dust.
