On the frosted cover of this LED bulb, a moving image of fire appears when switched on, hence the flame effect. The upper part of the cover tapers to a tip bent to the side, making the entire bulb look like a candle in the wind. It screws into the fitting thanks to the small E14 thread. It offers 3 lighting modes and the flame light is yellow. The lower part of the cover is white and beneath it is a silver metal base.
- Candle Shape in the Wind — the cover is cylindrical at the bottom and tapers to a curved tip at the top. This shape is chosen for decorative bulbs where the bulb is meant to resemble a real candle as closely as possible.
- Image of the Flame — the flame is displayed on the upper, frosted part of the cover, while the lower white part remains without effect. The bulb thus looks like a candle with a flame burning at its top.
- Lighting Modes — the bulb offers 3 lighting modes. You have a choice of different ways the bulb will illuminate in a chandelier or candle holder. You can select a specific mode depending on the occasion, for example for a regular evening or for festive decoration.
- Yellow Flame Colour — the yellow light of the flame complements evening lighting, but bright white light is more suitable for reading books or cooking. In a chandelier with multiple arms, several such bulbs create the impression of a group of candles.
- Small E14 Thread — the E14 thread is typically found in chandeliers with arms and in wall sconces. A reduction would be necessary for a fitting with a large E27 thread.
- Frosted Surface — the light passes through the frosted surface, which blurs individual light points into a smooth image of fire.
- White Part and Base — between the flame and the base is a white opaque part of the cover. The metal base with the thread is silver in colour with a dark finish.
- No Real Fire — the flame is merely a light effect, so the bulb does not smoke and does not drip wax. You screw it into a chandelier or candle holder in place of a standard bulb with the same thread.
- For Chandeliers and Candle Holders — the candle shape with a curved tip is suitable for chandeliers with arms, for wall sconces, and for decorative lamps with an E14 fitting, where the bulb is visible.
- Placement in the Fixture — the bulb is best used in a fixture where the tip points upwards, as this most closely resembles a candle.
- Replacement — replace the bulb only when the fixture is switched off and screw it in by hand, without tools. Do not use force to avoid damaging the cover.
