Guitar tools and care
Regular care extends a guitar's life and keeps it in good playing condition. Choose from tool kits, truss rod wrenches, string winders with cutters, polishes, fretboard oils, cleaning cloths and humidifiers for acoustic instruments.
Guitar tools and care
With basic tools, you can handle most adjustments yourself. Allen keys and screwdrivers in a compact kit are used to adjust the truss rod, bridge height and pickups, a ruler helps you measure string action precisely and a string winder with a cutter speeds up restringing.
Sweat and dust from your fingers build up on the strings, fretboard and finish over time. Soft cleaning cloths and polishes bring back the shine on the body, string cleaner extends string life and oil for rosewood or ebony fretboards stops them from drying out and cracking.
Solid-wood acoustic guitars are sensitive to dry air, especially in winter when the heating is on. Humidifiers placed in the soundhole or case keep humidity stable and protect the instrument from cracks, a warped neck and protruding frets. The ideal relative humidity is around 45–55%, which you can easily check with a hygrometer.
How we rank results
We determine the order of offers in search results and in category listings automatically, according to the rules below. No seller is given priority in the ranking, and it is not possible to pay us for a better position.
Search (default sorting “Relevance”): what counts is how well an offer matches the search term. Offers that match the term exactly appear at the top, followed by offers with a small deviation (for example a typo) and finally offers that only partly match it.
Categories (default sorting “Best Sellers”): the offers that sell the most appear at the top.
Sorting by price: if you choose Price: Low to High or Price: High to Low, we sort by price including VAT only.
