Dinosaur Egg for Excavation 1 pc Archaeological Toy Egg 5.3 x 6.6 cm with Scraper and Dinosaur Figure Inside For Children Aged 6 and Over
You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
The dinosaur egg for excavation transforms an ordinary afternoon into an exciting archaeological expedition. Inside the egg is a dinosaur figure, which children gradually uncover using the included scraper. What type of dinosaur is hidden in the egg is a surprise – each egg may contain a different lizard. The egg measures 5.3 x 6.6 cm, making it easy to hold in a child's hand and suitable for any table. The game teaches patience and brings joy from personal discovery.
While excavating, children get to experience how real paleontologists and archaeologists work. They carefully scrape the surface of the egg, removing individual layers and watching as the hidden treasure gradually appears beneath them. If too much dust is created during the process, simply mist the surface of the egg with a little water. We recommend working on a mat or newspaper, as small dust and fragments may be generated during excavation. After excavation, children can rinse the dinosaur figure, dry it, and continue playing with it or add it to their collection. The egg is a great idea for a dinosaur-themed children's party, as a small gift, or as a reward for effort in school. Excavation can also be approached as a family activity – parents can tell children about how dinosaurs lived, what they ate, and why they became extinct. Children can then look up information about the found species in a book or encyclopedia. If you buy multiple eggs, children can organise a small competition to see who uncovers their treasure first and whose dinosaur is the largest. Such a game develops concentration and the ability to complete tasks.
