The body of the tool is made from sintered carbide, which is a hard material commonly used for precision cutting tools. The cutting head and neck have a coating with a rainbow sheen, while the clamping shank remains silver. The thread is not produced with a tap but by milling in a helical motion according to the machine's programme. The mill is clamped by a cylindrical shank with a diameter of 4 mm.
