One helmet covers both cycling and more adventurous riding in terrain, as the chin guard can be detached and reattached. In its full-face form, the shell protects both the head and chin, and when the guard is removed, it becomes a classic cycling helmet with a peak. The internal circumference is designed for head sizes 48-54 cm and can be adjusted to fit the actual size, ensuring the helmet fits even with a cap underneath. The shell features ventilation openings all over, and additional vents are located in the chin area, allowing airflow while riding. The interior is filled with padded lining that conforms to the head and prevents the helmet from shifting. The straps under the chin hold a quick-release buckle that a child can open with one hand, making it easy to put on and take off in just a few seconds.
- Removable Chin Guard – one helmet serves as both a full-face and an open helmet, adapting to whether riding on an outing, a pump track, or a trail descent.
- Head Circumference 48-54 cm – the range corresponds to children's sizes, and the adjustment allows the helmet to be tightened so it does not slip over the eyes when leaning forward and does not press on the temples.
- Ventilation Throughout the Shell – openings at the top and in the chin area dissipate heat, and during faster rides, air flows around the head, preventing hair from becoming too damp.
- Padded Lining – a soft layer fills the space between the head and the shell, absorbing pressure, keeping the helmet in place, and can be removed for drying after a sweaty ride.
- Peak Above the Eyes – the front visor shades the sun, catches raindrops and small debris, protects the face from branches, and does not obstruct the view of the road.
- Straps with Buckle – adjustable straps around the ears and the buckle under the chin keep the helmet in the correct position even during jumps and uneven surfaces, and can be adjusted according to the child's height.
Contents of the package:
- 1x children's helmet with removable chin guard
The helmet is suitable for cycling, balance bikes, scooters, and obstacle courses where speeds are higher and there is a risk of falling on the face or colliding with handlebars. Before riding, it is necessary to position the helmet horizontally on the head, tighten the circumference, and check that the straps run around the ears without twisting. The chin guard detaches without tools, allowing it to be removed even during a ride when it gets warmer or when switching to a calmer path. After riding, it is advisable to wipe the helmet with a damp cloth, leave the lining to dry, and not store the helmet in direct sunlight or a hot car. The combination of a removable guard and adjustable circumference means that one helmet suffices for various types of riding and lasts longer than the child grows. This eliminates the need to purchase two separate helmets, one open and one full-face.
