Before installation, measure your pet's chest height and shoulder width and compare them with the dimensions of 29 x 35 cm to ensure they can pass through without squeezing. Position the opening low enough that your pet does not have to jump over the bottom edge, generally guided by the height of their belly above the ground. First, outline the cut according to the frame, cut it out, and only then screw the door in place, ensuring the flap rests freely. Gradually teach your pet to use the passage, initially holding the flap open and calling them with a treat from the other side. During the first few days, do not cover or block the door so that your pet associates the way out with free movement. Occasionally wipe the brush seal and flap to prevent dirt from accumulating and ensure the flap continues to rest evenly.
