You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
The Book Nook Kit Life of the Poet Su Dongpo is a wooden miniature model that transforms an ordinary gap between books into a small window into ancient China. The scene captures traditional pavilions with curved roofs, an arched bridge, a riverboat, green rocks with a waterfall, and tiny figures in period costumes. The finished model measures 11 x 18 x 23 cm, making it comfortably fit on a standard bookshelf. Inside, there is built-in LED lighting with a touch switch, which pleasantly illuminates the scene in the evening hours. The kit is designed for self-assembly according to the included colourful instructions.
The theme is inspired by the life of the Chinese poet Su Shi, also known as Su Dongpo. The individual vignettes recall his success in the imperial examinations, a meeting with a friend on the bridge, and a peaceful boat ride under the rocks. The model is composed of parts made from wood and paper, which, once assembled, create a layered three-dimensional scene with depth and plenty of detail. The side walls are adorned with turquoise frames featuring landscape and Chinese architecture motifs. The front is protected by a transparent dust cover, ensuring the interior remains clean for a long time and the model retains its appearance as a collectible piece.
