A book nook, or decorative insert for your library, is a three-dimensional miniature scene that slots between books to create the illusion of a mysterious alley hidden on the shelf. This construction kit offers a glimpse into a Japanese street with small shops, pubs, and blooming cherry blossoms. The base of the model consists of wooden parts, complemented by paper and fabric details that add depth and atmosphere to the scene. Once assembled, the model measures approximately 18.5 x 8.5 x 17 cm, making it comfortably fit into a standard library. Assembly is a manual task for patient model makers, and the kit is recommended for ages 14 and up.
The alley comes to life at dusk with LED lighting, illuminating the windows, lanterns, and shop displays with a warm glow. In the scene, you will find small signboards with Japanese inscriptions, red lanterns, banners stretched across the street, a cobbled sidewalk, and the pink crowns of cherry trees. In the background, there is a painted landscape with mountains and a setting sun. The outer sides of the model are covered with dark blue fabric adorned with white flowers and lace, making it look like a book in decorative binding among your books. The kit contains many small parts, so please be aware that assembly requires time and patience. Carefully cut out the paper and fabric parts according to the templates to ensure everything fits precisely. When connecting the lights, be careful that the ends of the wires do not touch each other, otherwise, a short circuit may occur and the lights will not illuminate. The colour and grain of the wood, fabric, and small decorations may vary slightly between different production batches. The finished model should be dusted gently from time to time with a dry soft brush.

How do I return goods?
- Email us at info@lunzo.ie with your order number and the items you are returning.
- Pack the goods and send them by post to the returns address in Spain.

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).

If the variant is available, we will send you instructions for the exchange. You pay the cost of sending the original item back; the new variant will be sent to you at no further charge.
