Overview
Bamboo Blind 90 x 190 cm Large Glazed Area Window Balcony or Terrace Shade Tied Slats Cord Control Brown Bamboo Shade

The blind with a size of 90 x 190 cm shades large windows, glazed doors, and high railing areas on balconies, loggias, or under pergolas. Tied bamboo slats form a continuous strip as they are connected across the entire width by sturdy cords at regular intervals. Direct rays are diffused on the slats, allowing only subdued light to enter, making it possible to read or work without glare. Air continues to flow through the gaps between the slats, preventing heat from accumulating behind the blind and keeping the space by the glazing ventilated even in summer. The cord control allows the strip to be pulled up into a roll at the top or lowered down and stopped at a height that suits you. The brown bamboo shade with the pattern of the stalks adds a natural look to the window and outdoor seating area.

  • Dimension 90 x 190 cm — the area covers the window sash and frame, with the bottom edge reaching down to the floor or the bottom edge of the railing.
  • Tied slats — bamboo slats connected by cords maintain a flat plane, do not twist, and when raised, fold into a regular roll.
  • Cord control — the blind is raised and lowered by pulling and will stay where the position of the sun above the horizon requires it.
  • Air between the slats — the gaps remain passable, allowing the blind to shade without completely closing off the entire glass area.
  • Diffused light — direct sunlight is broken by the bamboo, leaving a soft brightness in the room without glare, reflections, and hot spots.
  • Brown bamboo shade — the natural colour with the pattern of the stalks complements wood, rattan, textiles, and greenery around the window.

Contents of the package:

  • 1x bamboo blind 90 x 190 cm

The blind is suitable for glazed walls, patio doors, and in attics where the sun shines in for a large part of the day. The cord is pulled smoothly and evenly to ensure the slats wind up regularly and the bottom edge of the strip remains horizontal. Bamboo does not thrive in permanent moisture or standing in the rain, so the blind should be rolled up for winter and stored in a dry, sheltered area. Cleaning is done dry, with a soft brush or cloth run along the slats, without water and without detergents. The shade of the bamboo may vary slightly with each piece and develops over time due to sunlight, which is a characteristic of natural materials, not a defect. When rolled up, the blind takes up little space and can be easily stored in a cupboard or on a shelf out of season.
