Place the record on the turntable platter and lightly press the brush with the bristles against its surface. Allow the record to slowly rotate once or twice, so the bristles pass through the grooves all around. Then smoothly move the brush towards the edge of the record and lift it, so the captured dust remains in the bristles and does not return to the surface. Do not press down on the brush; just its own weight and gentle guidance from your hand is sufficient. Occasionally remove the accumulated dust from the bristles by tapping or using a dry soft cloth, and store the brush with the frame folded in a dry place.
