The ant farm with four chambers is a practical formicarium for home breeding and observing ants. The compact nest measures 80 x 60 x 30 mm and is suitable for a small and beginner colony. Inside, you will find a separate dry and wet zone, allowing the ants to choose the environment that suits them best. The bottom is filled with hard sand, and the walls of the chambers have a gently stepped surface that resembles natural tunnels in the ground. The entire nest is covered with a transparent lid, allowing you to observe the colony's life without disturbance.

The top of the nest features a round hole with a mesh that ensures a supply of fresh air to the nest. Next to the nest is a holder for a short test tube with water, which maintains humidity in the humidifying zone. There is a threaded hole on the side for connecting another part of the breeding system. The package also includes a red acrylic cover that allows minimal light to pass through, and the chambers are still clearly visible underneath. Both the long and short test tubes have blue stoppers and are included in the package.

Before moving in the colony, fill the short test tube with water and place it in the holder to distribute moisture to the humid part of the nest. Regularly top up the water and provide food in small amounts to avoid leftovers in the nest. Keep the red cover on the chambers if you want to give the ants more darkness, and remove it when you wish to observe them. Do not place the nest in direct sunlight or near heating, to prevent the sand from drying out unnecessarily. Ants are not included in the package; you must obtain a colony or queen separately.
