The ant farm with four chambers is a practical formicarium for home breeding and observing ants. The spacious nest measures 100 x 80 x 30 mm and is suitable for a growing colony that needs more space. Inside, you will find a separate dry and wet zone, allowing the ants to choose the place that suits them best. The bottom is filled with hard sand, and the walls of the chambers have a gently tiered surface that resembles natural tunnels in the ground. The entire nest is covered with a transparent lid, allowing you to observe the life of the colony without disturbance.

The top of the nest features a round hole with a mesh that ensures a supply of fresh air to the nest. Next to the nest is a holder for a short test tube with water, which maintains moisture in the moisture zone. On the side, there is a threaded hole for connecting another part of the breeding system. The package also includes a red acrylic cover that lets through minimal light, and the chambers are still well visible beneath it. Both the long and short test tubes have blue caps and are included in the package.

Before moving in the colony, fill the short test tube with water and place it in the holder to distribute moisture to the wet part of the nest. Continuously replenish the water and provide food in small amounts to avoid leftovers in the nest. Keep the red cover placed on the chambers if you want to give the ants more darkness, and remove it when you wish to observe them. Do not place the nest in direct sunlight or near heating, to prevent the sand from drying out unnecessarily. Ants are not included in the package; you will need to obtain a colony or queen separately.
