Overview
Adapter for Digitising 35 mm Negatives and Slides Diffuser Shade Film and Frame Holder 52 mm Thread Black for Macro Lenses

The adapter for digitising negatives is designed for the quick conversion of old photographs from film to digital format using your own camera. It attaches directly to a macro lens and is intended for 35mm negatives and slides in frames. At the end of the tube is a diffuser shade that disperses light from a window or lamp and evenly illuminates the entire frame of the film. The tube connects to the lens via a 52 mm thread, and the package includes a set of adapters for lenses with different thread diameters. Each frame can be photographed in an instant, and the finished image can then be converted from negative to positive on your computer.

The set includes two holders. The film strip holder accommodates a strip with 6 frames of 35mm negative, while the second holder is designed for two framed slides. The holder slides into a slot in the tube and moves frame by frame, allowing you to scan the entire strip without unnecessary handling. Using the adjustment ring on the tube, you can modify the angle of view and rotation to ensure the frame aligns perfectly with the image. Two 52 mm extension tubes help set the correct distance between the lens and the film according to the macro lens used.

For the best results, use a uniform light source with a high colour rendering index, such as a light box or quality fluorescent light. When using a traditional bulb, keep the diffuser shade at least 30 cm away from the source to prevent the film or holder from overheating and deforming. Slide frames are not included in the package; the holder is designed for slides that you already have in frames.

The adapter is a practical solution for anyone looking to preserve family photographs stored on old negatives and slides. Thanks to the diffuser shade, no special lighting is needed, and you only require a camera with a macro lens. The holders for strips and slides will speed up the work with the entire archive, and the set of adapters from 46 to 67 mm allows use with various lenses. The compact tube can easily be stored in a drawer, and you can return to digitisation at any time.
