The set with the A3 cutting mat contains everything you need to start cutting and gluing right after unpacking. The basis is a double-sided mat measuring 45 x 30 cm, to which you receive a knife with a snap-off blade and a roll of double-sided adhesive tape. The mat has a thickness of 3 mm, so it reliably protects your table when working with a knife or rotary cutter. The dark green surface with light lines is clear and easy on the eyes. The set is suitable for modellers, seamstresses, architecture students, and for home crafting.
The mat is made of dense and flexible PVC with a self-healing surface. Minor cuts will largely close up, so the surface remains usable even after many cuts. Deep grooves will not completely disappear, so it is advisable to alternate cutting areas. Both sides are printed, and on each side, you will find a grid with a scale in millimetres, angular lines, circle templates, hexagons, and oval shapes. You can easily measure and cut precise shapes and parts according to them.
The snap-off knife allows you to maintain a sharp tip; simply snap off the dull section of the blade. The double-sided tape is suitable for bonding paper, cardboard, and lightweight materials when making models, cards, or decorations. The mat is flexible and returns to a flat shape after being bent, so you can easily store it in a drawer or behind a cabinet.
