9.0 mm Crochet Hook Orange with Soft Ergonomic Handle and Wide Aluminium Head for Bulky Yarn Blankets and Rugs
You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
The orange 9.0 mm crochet hook is among the larger sizes designed for working with bulky yarns and cords. Both the wide head and shaft are made of aluminium, which keeps the hook lightweight despite its larger diameter. The metal part is followed by a soft handle with an ergonomic shape that fits comfortably in the palm. The size number is printed on the handle and is easy to read. The bright orange colour is striking, ensuring the hook stands out among other tools.
The head of this hook is robust and rounded, designed to reliably catch even very thick threads. The handle is flattened at the top for thumb support and slightly widens in the middle, ensuring the hook fits well in the hand. With a diameter of 9.0 mm, it is suitable for crocheting bulky blankets, rugs, laundry baskets, toys, or large shopping bags made from cotton cords.
Bulky yarn creates large and fluffy stitches, allowing the finished piece to grow very quickly. The smooth aluminium surface enables loops to slide over the head effortlessly without snagging. The soft material of the handle cushions pressure on the fingers and helps keep the hook light, which is important for even stitches. The hook is also suitable for fabric yarn made from strips of fabric or for chenille yarns, which create soft blankets and cushions.

The hook should be stored in a case or box where it will not be subjected to pressure. The metal head can be wiped with a dry cloth after use, and the handle can be cleaned with a damp one. It is advisable to protect the hook from high temperatures that could deform the soft handle. Thanks to its bright colour, it is easy to find even in a full basket of yarn. The smooth surface of the head remains pleasant even after many projects, provided the hook is stored separately from sharp objects that could scratch it.
The orange 9.0 mm hook makes working with bulky yarns and cords easier. The wide aluminium head and soft ergonomic handle ensure comfortable crocheting even for large projects. The number on the handle saves time when selecting the right size. This hook is ideal for anyone who enjoys quick projects with visible results. Beginners will also appreciate the large stitches, which help them learn to recognise different types of stitches and count rows correctly more easily.
