This Edison bulb features a filament in the shape of two stars, which are positioned one above the other on a vertical support. When lit, the outlines of both stars glow a warm yellow-orange and are clearly visible through the transparent glass. The elongated ST64 bulb is rounded at the top and has a small glass protrusion at the peak. At the bottom, the bulb is closed off with a brass base with an E27 thread. At a voltage of 220 V, the bulb consumes 40 W.
- Two Stars — the upper star is located at the top of the bulb, while the lower star lies beneath its centre. A gap remains between them, allowing each star to be seen separately. The points of the stars form an angular line of filament with sharp angles.
- Support and Leads — both stars are mounted on a vertical support in the middle of the bulb. Below the lower star, the connecting wires converge into a glass foot in the neck.
- Dimensions — the widest part of the bulb measures 6.4 cm and the total height of the bulb including the base is 14.2 cm. Therefore, the bulb is suitable for fixtures that have enough free space above the socket.
- Brass Base — the golden brass base has a E27 thread, which is compatible with standard lamp and chandelier sockets. When replacing, hold the bulb by the base, not by the glass.
- Consumption — over 50 hours of operation, the bulb consumes 2 kWh from the grid. It cannot be compared to LED bulbs in terms of efficiency, as it is a traditional incandescent source.
- Light Colour — the stars shine warmly, in a shade between yellow and orange. For work surfaces, choose a different source; this bulb serves mainly as decorative lighting.
- Visible Filament — the stars are visible from all sides through the transparent glass, even when the bulb is not lit. Therefore, it is worth choosing a fixture that leaves the bulb exposed.
- Heat When Lit — the glass of the bulb heats up during operation. After switching off, allow it to cool down and do not use it in enclosed shades made of flammable materials.
- For Christmas — during Advent and Christmas, the stars enhance festive decorations, for example, in a hanging arrangement by the window or above the dining table. Out of season, the bulb is suitable for the bedroom or living room, where it mainly serves as an ornament.
- Combination with Other Bulbs — in a series of pendants, it can be combined with other Edison ST64 bulbs with the same E27 base. Such a series can be hung, for example, above a bar counter or a long dining table.
