The electronic calliper measures up to 150 mm and displays the value on the LCD screen, eliminating the need to decipher the marks on a Vernier scale and errors from inaccurate readings at awkward angles. The mm/in/F button cycles through three units, as the display can show inches as fractions in addition to millimetres and decimal inches, such as 1-17/32 in. The entire calliper measures 236 x 77 mm, making it suitable for storage in a workbench drawer, a tool bag, or the carrying case it comes with and is stored in. The controls consist of three buttons below the display and a knurled screw above them, which secures the slider in the position where the measurement was taken. On the back of the slider, there is an embossed conversion table, so conversions between systems and basic thread dimensions are readily available directly on the tool, eliminating the need to search elsewhere.

- High-contrast LCD display – dark digits on a light background maintain readability even when viewed from above and when working at a bench under a ceiling light, where light reflects off the shiny rail.
- Dimensions of the calliper 236 x 77 mm – the elongated shape with short jaws can be held in one hand and fits into a drawer or tool bag pocket without bending the rail.
- Conversion table on the slider – the embossed overview on the back provides conversions and reference thread dimensions, so there is no need to look up values on a phone.
- Locking of the measured value – tightening the screw secures the slider, and the measurement remains intact when removing the calliper or when transferring to the workpiece.
- Case with a shaped insert – the closable cover keeps the calliper in one position, preventing the jaws from hitting other tools in the drawer and keeping the measuring edges straight.

The calliper is useful in the workshop, garage, garden, during modelling, and for home repairs, where more precision is needed than a tape measure can provide. Before first use, it is advisable to close the jaws dry, check the zero on the display, and adjust it if necessary using the zero button. When taking measurements, it is good to hold the calliper perpendicular to the surface being measured, as tilted jaws will show a slightly larger measurement. The fractional mode should only be activated where working with inch parts; otherwise, the display in millimetres is clearer for workshop practice. After use, simply wipe the rail and jaws and return the calliper to the case to prevent debris and dust from entering the guide groove.
