The TCT grooving cutter with dimensions 10 x 28 mm is a straight three-edge cutter for milling wide grooves, rebates, and cutouts in wood. The cutting diameter is 10 mm and the length of the cutting edges is 28 mm, allowing the cutter to handle wide and deeper grooves. The edges are made of carbide and the cutter is fitted with a 1/2 inch shank with a diameter of 12.7 mm. It can be used in a router, CNC machine, or engraving machine. The cutter is silver with a grey transition between the shank and the edges.
- Groove width 10 mm — the cutter creates a groove 10 mm wide with a flat bottom and vertical walls. It is suitable for joints and recessing thicker boards, strips, and fillings.
- Cutting edges 28 mm — the working part allows milling to a depth of up to 28 mm. Always mill deeper grooves gradually in multiple passes to avoid overloading the tool.
- Three-edge cut — during rotation, three edges engage in the cut sequentially, each removing a smaller chip. The cut is therefore smoother than with cutters with fewer edges.
- Cutting edges made of carbide — the abbreviation TCT denotes edges made of carbide, which is harder than tool steel. It is commonly used for wood and board cutters.
- 1/2 inch collet — the shank with a diameter of 12.7 mm fits into a collet of the same diameter. A 12 mm collet is not suitable for it, so please check your machine's equipment before purchasing.
- Tool length — the cutter measures 86 mm. The strong shank gives the tool good rigidity, and the depth of insertion into the collet should be chosen according to the machine's manual.
- For manual and CNC routers — the cutter can be used in a manual router, milling table, CNC router, or engraving machine, provided they have a collet for 1/2 inch.
- Frames, doors, and shelves — the cutter is designed for wood and multilayer chipboard. It is suitable for wide grooves and rebates in frames, doors, shelves, and other furniture parts.
- Before milling — securely tighten the cutter in the collet and safely clamp the workpiece. A wide cutter removes more material, so choose an appropriate feed rate and wear protective glasses.

How do I return goods?
