The digital calliper measures in the range of 0 to 200 mm, making it suitable for small fasteners as well as wider profiles, beams, and discs for a single measurement. The value is displayed in millimetres or inches, and switching units is managed by the button above the display, so no manual conversion is required. The specified measurement tolerance is ±0.03 mm, which is suitable for checking machined surfaces, sheet thickness, and shaft diameters in regular workshop practice. The entire tool measures 287 mm in length and the steel beam is 16 mm wide, ensuring it remains rigid and does not bend even when fully extended, keeping the jaws in one plane. The IP54 rating on the jaws indicates resistance to dust and splashing water, allowing the calliper to withstand working in environments with chips, abrasive dust, and cooling fluids.

The calliper is suitable for engineering workshops, carpentry, automotive service, and home workbenches where larger pieces of material are handled. Before measuring, it is advisable to close the jaws, check the zero on the display, and if there is any deviation, reset it with the zeroing button. For longer dimensions, it is beneficial to position the calliper so that the beam lies parallel to the measured edge, as an angled approach can add a few tenths to the result. The jaws should be applied with only a light touch, as excessive pressure can flex and compress thin materials. After finishing work, the beam and jaws should be wiped clean of dust, and the calliper should be returned to its case, where it has its own compartment and will not be damaged by other tools.

How do I return goods?

If the goods need to be sent back, we will refund the postage for a valid claim (just provide the receipt).
