The calliper with electronic reading operates within a range of 0 to 150 mm and the stated measurement accuracy is ±0.02 mm, which covers work where hundredths are monitored. The main component is a stainless steel rail 235 mm long, along which a slider with a plastic cover, display, knurled wheel, and trio of control buttons moves. Position sensing is ensured by a glass measuring grid housed inside the rail, and the entire construction has an IP54 rating against dust and splash water. The gauge covers four tasks, as the lower jaws measure external dimensions, the upper blades measure internal diameters, the retractable tongue measures the depth of a hole, and the edge of the rail measures the height of seating between two surfaces. Under the cover on the top side of the slider is a data output connector, through which the measured values are sent to a computer, however, the connecting cable is not included in the package.
- Accuracy ±0.02 mm – the manufacturer's stated tolerance is maintained within two hundredths of a millimetre, making the gauge suitable for checking machined parts as well as for comparing pieces from the same series.
- Two Units on the Display – the in/mm button switches between millimetres and inches, allowing the same part to be read in both systems without calculations, without a conversion table on paper, and without transcription errors.
- Glass Measuring Grid – position sensing is ensured by the grid inside the rail, which is sealed within the profile and is protected from dust and moisture from the surface of the scale.
- Data Output Connector – the port under the flip cover allows for connecting a data cable and transferring values to a computer during serial measurement, production control, or dimension logging.
- Stainless Steel Rail with Plastic Slider – the metal part maintains shape and rigidity, while the lighter cover of the slider protects the electronics and display from common impacts on the workbench and from scratches.
- Depth Measuring Tongue – the thin bar extended at the end of the gauge rests against the edge of the hole and measures the depth of a groove, hole, or notch without any additional tool.
- Jaw Depth 40 mm – the long lower jaws can reach even inside from the edge of the part, allowing for measurement of dimensions stored several centimetres below the edge or between two flanges.
- Screw-On Battery Cover – the round cover with the labels close and open can be turned by hand, allowing the depleted button cell to be replaced without a screwdriver.

The calliper is useful for checking machined parts, in modelling, in automotive workshops, in manufacturing, and during DIY projects where measuring with a ruler is insufficient. Before a series of measurements, it is advisable to close the jaws and press zero, as zeroing is the basis from which every subsequent measured value is derived. During work, it is worth monitoring whether any chips have become lodged between the jaws, as even small debris can shift the result by more than the stated tolerance. The IP54 rating protects the gauge from dust and splash water, but immersion or permanent wet storage is not tolerated by the construction. After completing work, simply wipe the rail with a dry cloth and store the gauge in the case, where the jaws and depth measuring tongue are protected from bending.
