Set of 6 Children's Protectors for Knees, Elbows and Palms with Rigid Shell, Breathable Mesh and Adjustable Velcro Straps

The first rides on a bike, scooter or skates are inevitable without falls, and this six-piece set of children's protectors is prepared for them. The package includes two knee protectors, two elbow protectors and two palm protectors, so the most stressed areas are covered at once. The knees and elbows are protected by a shaped shell that distributes the impact over a larger area and slides along the asphalt instead of digging into it. The palm protectors have a rigid plate on the underside of the hand and a softer part over the back, helping during a typical forward fall onto the hands. The inner side is made of mesh fabric, which dissipates heat and does not feel as stuffy as a solid layer. Each piece is tightened with Velcro straps, so the set fits variously sized limbs and can be loosened as the child grows or when wearing longer sleeves.

  • Six pieces in one set – two knee protectors, two elbow protectors and two palm protectors make a complete set without the need to purchase additional parts separately.
  • Rigid shells – the convex shape on the knees and elbows distributes the impact, protects the skin from abrasions during sliding on the surface, and stays in place even during repeated falls.
  • Palm protectors with a plate – reinforced underside of the hand mitigates impact during a forward fall when the child instinctively puts their hands out, while allowing fingers to remain free for holding the handlebars.
  • Adjustable Velcro straps – tightening adjusts to the circumference of the limb, allowing the child to put on and take off the protectors independently without needing to pull anything over their head.
  • Breathable mesh – the inner layer dissipates heat from the skin, preventing hands and legs from sweating too much even during longer rides in warm weather.
  • Lightweight construction – the protectors do not hinder movement while pedalling or pushing off, so the child will soon forget they are wearing them and will not take them off in the middle of a ride.

The set is suitable for a bike, balance bike, scooter, skates and skateboard, wherever the child is learning to balance. The protectors are worn over thin clothing or directly on the skin, and the straps are tightened to keep the piece in place, preventing it from sliding during movement and not pressing on the joint bend. Before each ride, it is advisable to check that the Velcro holds and that the shells fit on the knees and elbows. After riding, simply wipe the protectors with a damp cloth and let them air dry, storing them so that the straps do not twist.
