The ratchet pipe cutter is designed for cutting installation pipes in areas where there is not enough space to rotate the entire tool around the pipe. The working range of 8 to 29 mm covers common plumbing and heating profiles, from thin copper pipes to thicker plastic installations in bathrooms and boiler rooms. The dimensions 18 x 8 x 4 cm correspond to a size that fits in one hand, allowing the tool to fit in a bag or a drawer with other plumbing tools. The cutting wheel is pressed against the pipe using an adjustable screw at the top, and the actual cut is made with short movements of the handle, similar to a ratchet. The tool is made to handle copper, aluminium, iron, stainless steel, as well as plastic pipes made of PPR and PE. It can also manage galvanised and corrugated pipes, which plumbers commonly encounter during renovations.

  • Ratchet mechanism – short handle stroke allows work close to a wall, in a recess, or among other installations where a standard pipe cutter cannot be rotated. The cut is completed by repeated rocking of the handle without fumbling and without disassembling surrounding pipes.
  • Materials – copper, aluminium, iron, stainless steel, as well as PPR and PE pipes, meaning one tool covers both metal and plastic installations in the home. There is no need to switch between a metal saw and plastic scissors depending on which installation is being modified.
  • Range – diameters from 8 to 29 mm include the most common sizes for water, heating, and cooling circuits. The diameter is adjusted smoothly, allowing the tool to adapt to atypical pipe sizes without changing parts.
  • Cut adjustment – a grooved screw at the top allows for gradual pressure to be applied, preventing the pipe wall from being crushed. Gradual tightening saves the wheel and the material being cut, keeping the cut in the same plane.
  • Handle – the shaped handle with a riveted joint holds firmly in the hand even during repeated back-and-forth movements. The longer handle provides sufficient leverage even when cutting thicker metal pipes.
  • Dimensions – 18 x 8 x 4 cm, a format that fits in the installation bag without taking up space for other tools. The height of 4 cm allows the cutter to be used between pipes that are closely spaced or right up against the wall.
