The pipe cutter can shorten the seat post, fork column, and other tubular parts of a mountain bike without the need to use a saw or grinder. The working range of 6 to 42 mm covers even thicker profiles that appear in frames, columns, and pipes outside of cycling. The frame is made from aluminium alloy, which resists corrosion and maintains its shape even under higher tension. The cutting wheel is gradually introduced into the material by turning the adjustment knob at the bottom of the body, while a pair of rollers guides the pipe around its entire circumference and keeps it aligned. The result is a straight and perpendicular cut that does not require further alignment with a file or edge grinding. The cutting process is visible at all times, allowing the knob to be loosened at any moment to check the pipe and adjust the cut if necessary.

  • Pipe Diameters – from 6 to 42 mm for seat posts, fork columns, and thicker pipes, so one tool covers most adjustments on a bike. Fitting onto the pipe is a matter of a few turns of the clamp, saving time on preparation.
  • Control – adjustment knob with knurling can be turned even while wearing gloves, allowing for pressure to be applied in small increments. Over-tightening is therefore not a concern even during quick work on a project.
  • Guide Rollers – a pair of rollers keeps the tool on the same path, ensuring that the cut returns to the same line with each rotation. The pipe does not slip under the wheel, and the plane of the cut remains unchanged even after several rotations.
  • Tool Body – the aluminium frame with a sliding clamp allows the pipe cutter to be fitted even where there is not much space around the part, such as with a seat post inserted in a frame. The surface can simply be wiped down with a cloth after use and does not require any lubrication.
