Overview
Manual Pipe Cutter with Ratchet and Adjustable Wheel for Sizes 10 to 42 mm Black for Copper Aluminium Stainless Steel and Plastic PPR and PE Pipes

The manual pipe cutter covers sizes commonly worked with in water, heating, and compressed air installations. The working range of 10 to 42 mm includes thin connections and thicker risers, so one tool can handle most pipes in flats and family homes. The head features both metric and imperial markings 3/8 to 1 5/8 inches, allowing for quick identification of whether the given pipe fits the jaws, even without measuring with a caliper. The open fork can be applied from above or the side depending on access to the pipe, and the grooved knob on the side tightens the cutting wheel to the material, while movements of the handle guide the cut around the circumference. The tool can manage copper, aluminium, iron, and stainless steel pipes, as well as plastic installations made of PPR and PE, which are commonly used in new installations.

  • Pipe Sizes – from 10 to 42 mm cover connections to taps and thicker installations, eliminating the need to purchase a second cutter for larger profiles. The adjustment changes smoothly, without the need to replace jaws or inserts according to the pipe diameter.
  • Pressure Adjustment – the grooved knob is tightened by hand and gradually adds pressure, ensuring that the pipe wall does not bend inwards. For thin-walled installations, pressure can be adjusted in very small increments, keeping the edge smooth.
  • Ratchet Action – short movements of the handles guide the cut even in places where the tool cannot go around the entire pipe, such as against a wall or between two installations. The cut is completed without fumbling and without disassembling surrounding pipes or insulation.
  • Materials – copper, aluminium, iron, stainless steel, PPR and PE, allowing one tool to handle both metal and plastic installations without switching between a saw and scissors. Changing materials only means adjusting the pressure, not reaching for another tool in the bag.
  • Fork Head – the open shape allows the cutter to be applied from above or the side even on pipes running close to a wall. The pipe does not need to be loosened from the holders or disconnected, saving time during repairs.
  • Handle – the elongated handle with screw connections fits securely in the hand and provides the necessary leverage when cutting metal. One hand can operate the tool while the other holds the pipe or shines a torch into the shaft.

Contents of the package:

  • 1x manual pipe cutter

The cutter is suitable for plumbers, heating engineers, and DIY enthusiasts during bathroom renovations, radiator reconnections, or repairing a burst connection. The cold cut of the wheel does not burn surrounding materials and does not create sparks, which is an advantage in finished interiors and in spaces with flammable materials and insulation. Black finish does not highlight marks from daily use and the tool remains recognisable even in an overcrowded bag or boot. The straight edge after cutting allows for the fitting of a coupling or fitting without further alignment or grinding. Working with one hand also helps in cramped shafts where there is no place to set down a second tool. Once the work is completed, simply wipe the cutter clean of shavings and store it back with the other plumbing equipment. It is equally useful for building garden installations and for maintaining compressed air installations in the workshop.
