The crankbait lure is one of the most popular artificial baits for light spinning. This model has a body length of 4.5 cm and weighs 3.5 g, making it perfect for lighter rods and thinner lines. The short and chunky body made of solid plastic mimics a small fish and creates a pronounced side-to-side wobbling motion when retrieved. The transparent bill at the front pulls the lure below the surface and maintains a stable action even at slow speeds. When the retrieval stops, the lure slowly rises to the surface, often provoking predators to strike.
The lure features realistic 3D eyes and a detailed scale pattern, making it look like a live fish in the water. The shiny lacquered surface reflects light and is easily visible in both clear and slightly murky water. The lure is fitted with two sharp treble hooks on solid rings, one under the belly and the other at the tail, ensuring that fish do not easily come off after striking. Using it is simple. Attach the lure to a small carabiner or tie it directly to the eye on the bill. After casting, start reeling in smoothly, and the lure will dive into shallow water and begin to wobble. A proven technique is also to retrieve with short pauses, allowing the lure to rise momentarily before starting to wobble again with the next turn of the handle. This action mimics an injured fish and attracts mainly perch, trout, and chub, but also smaller pike, zander, or barbel. The lure is suitable for rivers, streams, ponds, and smaller reservoirs.
The 4.5 cm crankbait lure is a practical addition to any spinning tackle box. Due to its lightweight, it is ideal for ultralight spinning, where even novice anglers will appreciate its easy handling and reliable action. Before fishing, check that the hooks are sharp and the rings are securely closed. How do I return goods?
