You already have the maximum available quantity in your cart.
Luffa acutangula is a climbing plant that captivates with its striking fruits and growth habit. It produces long green fruits with prominent longitudinal ribs that hang from the plant and reach impressive lengths, making them unmissable. The plant climbs using tendrils, making it ideal for growing on an arbour, fence, or other support, which it quickly covers with leaves and fruits. Additionally, from the ripe dried fruits, the well-known natural sponge luffa is obtained, used in bathrooms and households. The pack contains 10 seeds, allowing you to grow several plants at once and select the strongest ones.
Key Features:
- Long Ribbed Fruits — green fruits with prominent longitudinal edges hang from the plant and are one of the main attractions of this species, easily distinguishable from common vegetables.
- Climbing Growth — the plant climbs using tendrils and can cover an arbour, fence, or trellis, creating a green wall with hanging fruits, providing natural shading and an interesting element in the garden.
- Natural Sponge — from the ripe and dried fruits, a fibrous material known as luffa is obtained, which is used as a natural washing sponge in bathrooms and kitchens.
- Growing on Supports — the plant only requires a sturdy support, and it will find its way upwards using tendrils.
- Divided Leaves — large lobed leaves create a dense green cover, giving the support a natural appearance throughout the season.
- Pack of 10 Seeds — a larger number of seeds increases the chance of successfully growing several plants and allows for repeated sowing at different times.
- Growing from Seeds — you can observe the entire development of the plant from germination to fruit harvest and have the entire process under control from start to finish.
- Interest for Growers — luffa combines ornamental and practical value, delighting both gardeners and lovers of natural products.
