Overview
Diamond Drill Bit 16 mm with M10 Thread for Angle Grinder Sintered Diamond Black Dry Drilling into Tiles, Cladding, Marble, Granite and Glass

The diamond drill bit with a diameter of 16 mm is designed for drilling holes into hard building materials using an angle grinder. It features an internal thread M10 on the clamping side, allowing it to be screwed directly onto the spindle of the grinder without a chuck or additional adapters. The cutting part is covered with sintered diamond grains, which can handle ceramic tiles, cladding, porcelain tiles, marble, granite, concrete, and glass. The diameter of 16 mm indicates the size of the hole that will be created after drilling, so please choose the diameter according to the pipe or element that will pass through the hole. The drill bit is intended for dry drilling, without the need to add water. It is suitable for holes for dowels, anchors, cables, and thin conduits in cladding and tiles, and will be useful for tilers, plumbers, and DIY enthusiasts during bathroom or kitchen renovations.

  • Diameter – 16 mm.
  • M10 Thread – direct attachment to the angle grinder with M10 spindle thread.
  • Sintered Diamond – diamond grains firmly bonded to the tool body throughout the cutting section.
  • Dry Drilling – drilling without water; cooling with water may extend tool life.
  • Materials – ceramic tiles, cladding, porcelain tiles, marble, granite, concrete, and glass.
  • Colour – black.
  • Package Contents – 1 piece of 16 mm diamond drill bit.

When drilling, hold the grinder at an angle of approximately 45 degrees initially and carefully create a shallow groove in the surface in a crescent shape. Once the drill bit catches, gradually straighten the grinder to a vertical position of 90 degrees and drill with slight pressure. This procedure will prevent slipping on the smooth glaze and keep the edge of the hole clean. Allow the drill bit to work under its own weight and do not apply excessive force, as this may cause the diamond layer to overheat unnecessarily. Before the first use, ensure that the drill bit is securely tightened onto the spindle and that the grinder runs without vibrations or wobbling. During prolonged drilling, take short breaks, or you may cool the cutting part with water, which will extend the tool's lifespan. Use protective goggles, gloves, and a respirator, as fine dust is generated during dry drilling.

The diamond drill bit 16 mm with M10 thread is a practical addition to any angle grinder. Thanks to the sintered diamond, it can handle hard tiles and natural stone, creating a clean hole without chipped edges. It is suitable for work on construction sites as well as at home, where you need to quickly create holes for dowels, anchors, cables, and thin conduits in cladding and tiles. The attachment to the angle grinder M10 is quick, and the drill bit can be easily replaced with another diameter. The tool is compact, making it easy to store in a toolbox and always have on hand. Dry drilling saves time, as you do not need to prepare water or cooling. The result is precise holes in tiles, marble, and granite without the need to purchase an expensive core drill.
