Wide V-Bits 90° x 0.2 mm Pack of 10 CNC Engraving Bits Solid Carbide Shank 3.175 mm Length 28 mm Silver Letters and Outlines

Wide V-Bits with a tip of 90° x 0.2 mm are designed for engraving wide and prominent lines on CNC milling machines. The right angle of the tip creates a groove that is approximately twice as wide as the cutting depth, and the 0.2 mm tip provides a narrow flat bottom. The pack contains 10 pieces of three-flute pyramid bits made of solid carbide. The bits are clamped with a 3.175 mm shank into the collet of a CNC milling machine or engraving machine. They are silver in colour and all pieces are dimensionally identical.

  • Tip 90° — each side of the tip is slanted at 45° from the axis of the bit. This allows the groove to widen quickly with depth, enabling you to create a prominent line even without deep cutting.
  • Tip 0.2 mm with a flat — the tip is not pointed completely sharp, but has a narrow flat section 0.2 mm wide. This is sturdier than a 0.1 mm tip and the bottom of the groove is slightly flat.
  • Compact size — the total length of the bit is 28 mm. The short tool with a low and robust cutting part remains stable during engraving.
  • Three flutes in action — the pyramid cutting part has three flutes that alternate regularly during rotation. Material is removed gradually, and chips have a clear path from the groove.
  • Carbide as material — the bits are made of solid carbide. This hard material is commonly used for engraving bits and is harder than tool steel.
  • Shank 1/8 inch — the diameter of the shank is 3.175 mm. Clamp the bit into a collet for the same diameter, as a 3 mm collet is not suitable for it.
  • Easy width calculation — the width of the groove corresponds to double the cutting depth plus the width of the tip. At a depth of 1 mm, a line approximately 2.2 mm wide will be created, making programme settings easier.
  • Edges at 45° — due to the slant of the sides, you can create a bevel at a 45° angle on the edge of the workpiece with the bit. This is useful, for example, when finishing the edges of signs and labels.
  • Large letters and outlines — the bit is suitable for large letters, prominent outlines, and decorative motifs. For small text, narrower angles and finer tips are more suitable.
  • Contents of the package — 10x engraving V-bit 90° x 0.2 mm.

Wide V-Bits 90° x 0.2 mm are suitable for prominent lines, large letters, and bevelled edges at a 45° angle. The right angle of the tip provides a wide groove even at a shallow cutting depth, and the 0.2 mm tip is sturdier than the finest tips. Three-flute bits made of solid carbide have a length of 28 mm and a shank of 3.175 mm for CNC milling machines and engraving machines. The pack contains ten identical pieces, so you have a replacement ready for extended work. They are useful for making signs, labels, inscriptions, and decorative motifs.
