The generator is designed for voltage level 48 V, where a lower current flows through the conductors, reducing losses in the wiring. The nominal power of 5000 W corresponds to a supplementary source for a larger home storage system. The vertical axis rotor captures wind from every direction and does not require a tail vane. The set includes, in addition to the generator, a hybrid controller with two independent MPPT inputs and a resistive load for excess energy dissipation. The supporting part is a stainless steel shaft, while the electrical components are covered by aluminium.
