Overview
Trowel for Plaster and Render with a Blade 250 mm Thick 0.6 mm and Closed Plastic Handle in Green for Brickwork and Plasterboard

Applying and smoothing building mixtures is a task where the geometry of the blade and the strength of the grip matter. This trowel has a stainless steel blade 250 mm long and 0.6 mm thick, which is a suitable combination for evenly spreading material across a wall without unnecessary effort. The blade tapers from the back to the front from 99 mm to 85 mm, allowing the tip to get closer to edges and corners, while the wider part covers a continuous surface. The closed plastic handle sits on two legs and creates space for the whole palm even when wearing a work glove. The green finish of the handle distinguishes the tool from other pieces in the bag and is easy to wipe clean of dried mixture.

  • Blade 250 mm long — suitable for walls, ceilings, and plasterboard where a continuous stroke is needed without repeated application.
  • Blade thickness 0.6 mm — the thin sheet flexes under hand pressure and spreads the mixture into a layer without sharp edges.
  • Tapering from 99 mm to 85 mm — the profile helps when working near edges and mouldings, where there is little space to manoeuvre the entire blade surface.
  • Stainless steel — the blade withstands moisture from mixtures and repeated washing, leaving no rusty marks on the surface even after prolonged use.
  • Closed handle — the space for the whole palm allows pushing and pulling without losing control over the angle of the blade even while wearing a glove.
  • Bridge with two legs — the handle is firmly fitted and does not rotate or loosen under load on the blade.

Contents of the package:

  • 1x trowel

The tool is used for applying internal plasters when gluing tiles, for skimming plasterboard, and for repairing damaged surfaces. The mixture is picked up from a facade trowel or container and spread with a long stroke, with the angle of the blade determining the thickness of the resulting layer. When finishing, the blade is held almost flat to keep the surface smooth and free of visible edges from individual strokes. On larger areas, it is advisable to work in strips and overlap onto the still damp edge; otherwise, a noticeable transition will remain at the joint. Cleaning the blade after each mixture maintains a smooth surface on which the material does not cling and glides better. The green closed handle remains firmly in hand even during prolonged work, and the tool can be stored immediately among other equipment after rinsing.
