The TCT groove cutter measuring 8 x 30 mm is a straight three-edged cutter designed for milling grooves, half-grooves, and cut-outs in wood. The cutting diameter is 8 mm and the length of the cutting edges is 30 mm, allowing the cutter to handle wider and deeper grooves in thicker materials. The cutting edges are made of tungsten carbide and the cutter is secured with a shank diameter of 12.7 mm, which is 1/2 inch. It can be used in a router, CNC machine, or engraving machine. The cutter is silver with a light grey transition between the shank and the cutting edges.
- Straight Groove 8 mm — the cutter creates a groove 8 mm wide with a flat bottom and vertical walls. It is suitable for joints and recessing thicker boards and strips.
- Cutting Edge Length 30 mm — the working part allows milling to a depth of up to 30 mm. For deeper grooves, always mill gradually in multiple passes and increase the depth in smaller increments.
- Three Cutting Edges — during rotation, three edges gradually engage in the cut, each removing a smaller chip. The cut is therefore smoother than with cutters with fewer edges.
- Tungsten Carbide Cutting Edges — the abbreviation TCT means that the cutting edges are made of tungsten carbide. This material is harder than tool steel and is commonly used for wood and board cutters.
- 1/2 Inch Shank — the shank with a diameter of 12.7 mm fits into a collet of the same diameter. A 12 mm collet is not suitable for it, so please check your machine's equipment before purchasing.
- Total Length of the Cutter — the cutter measures 85 mm. The thick shank provides good rigidity to the tool, and the depth of insertion into the collet should be chosen according to the machine's manual.
- Suitable for Routers and CNC — the cutter can be used in a handheld router, in a routing table, in a CNC machine, or in an engraving machine, provided they have a collet for 1/2 inch.

How do I return goods?
