The 800 mm shower drain channels water along the entire shower area and replaces the traditional point outlet in the centre of the floor. The body is shaped like a narrow elongated trough, where water flows to a single outlet, and the top is closed with a flat grate. Both the body and the grate are made of stainless steel, which withstands the permanently damp environment of the bathroom and can be wiped clean without special products. The outlet is positioned from the side wall at the end of the drain, so the connection to the waste pipe does not have to be exactly in the centre of the shower and can be moved closer to the wall. Outlet diameter 45 mm corresponds to the size commonly used for shower drains. The grate with longitudinal slats forms a flat surface without protrusions and can be fully lifted, keeping the inside of the drain and the outlet accessible.
- Length 800 mm – the drain covers the width of a standard shower enclosure and channels water along its entire length instead of from a single point, so water does not have to overflow across a large area of the floor to a single small opening and flows the shortest possible way to the drain.
- Edge outlet – the outlet is located at the end of the drain and points sideways, allowing greater flexibility in waste routing and is suitable where the waste pipe exits closer to the wall than to the centre of the shower area.
- Outlet diameter 45 mm – outlet with a standard shower size, to which the waste pipe connects with the appropriate diameter, so there is no need to look for atypical parts or reducers outside the usual range.
- Removable grate – the slatted cover is fully removable, exposing the inner space of the drain and the outlet, where hair and soap residues accumulate; after cleaning, the grate can be replaced without further securing and once again forms a continuous walking surface.
- Stainless steel – the material of the body and grate resists water, steam, and common bathroom chemicals, does not absorb moisture, and remains smooth after rinsing, making it harder for limescale and soap scum to adhere.
- Profile dimensions – width 68 mm and total height 56 mm keep the drain in a narrow and low shape, which does not take up unnecessary space in the floor and leaves enough area for surrounding tiling.
Contents of the package:
- 1x shower drain with grate
This linear drain of this length is suitable for traditional shower enclosures as well as for showers without a tray, where water drainage is planned across the entire width of the entrance, and the length of 800 mm also covers a wider entrance, where a smaller point outlet would not catch the water. The stainless steel design is intended for daily contact with water, steam, and soap, so maintenance requires no special care for the surface and can be done with a simple wipe with a cloth. The removable slatted grate simplifies regular cleaning of the interior, which is crucial for the smooth drainage of water in shower drains. Edge outlet expands the possibilities when planning plumbing and allows the connection to be placed further from the centre of the shower, where there is often less space in the floor. The flat slatted surface appears unobtrusive in the floor and complements the tiling and large-format tiles without disruptive details and pronounced transitions.
