The insert with a length of 44 mm is used in frames with a more spacious shock mount in the rear triangle of a full-suspension mountain bike. Its purpose is to ensure precise positioning of the shock so that it operates without lateral movement and without contact between metal parts. The aluminium shaft with an outer diameter of 12 mm passes through the eye of the shock and rests against plastic collars with a thickness of 15 mm, which define the lateral surface of the mount. The inner diameter of 8 mm accommodates the fixing screw, thus ensuring a secure connection with the frame. Gradual wear of the original bushes manifests as play, creaking, or reduced sensitivity of the shock in response to small bumps. Replacing it with a new bush usually restores the bike's behaviour to what the rider was originally accustomed to. The aluminium shaft combined with plastic collars resists moisture, dust, and dirt from off-road riding. This component is useful for regular maintenance as well as for overhauling the rear triangle of the bike after impact or prolonged use.

How do I return goods?
