Pyramid engraving cutters 60° x 0.2 mm combine a wide tip angle with a tip that is slightly thicker than the finest variants. They create clear V-shaped grooves and are suitable for signs, logos, and larger inscriptions. The pack contains 10 pieces of identical three-flute carbide cutters. They are clamped into a CNC milling machine or engraving machine with a shank diameter of 3.175 mm. The cutters are silver and all have the same dimensions in the pack.

  • Tip angle 60° — the flared sides of the cutting part create a groove that rapidly widens with increasing depth. Even a shallow cut therefore provides a well-visible line.
  • Sturdier tip 0.2 mm — the end of the tip is wider than that of a 0.1 mm tip, so the groove has a narrow flat bottom and the tip itself is less prone to breaking. It is suitable where a completely sharp bottom is not required.
  • Cutter dimensions — the total length of the tool is 30 mm. The short cutter with a robust cutting part is stable during engraving and bends less than long slender tools.
  • Three-flute pyramid — the cutting part is shaped like a pyramid with three flutes that alternate in engagement while rotating. Material is removed smoothly, and chips leave the groove from all three sides.
  • Carbide material — the cutters are made from carbide, a hard material commonly used for engraving tools. It is harder than tool steel.
  • 1/8 inch clamping — the shank has a diameter of 3.175 mm. Use a collet for this diameter; a 3 mm collet is not suitable for the cutter.
  • Groove width — at a 60° angle, the groove is approximately as wide as it is deep plus the width of the tip. The width of the line can therefore be easily influenced by the cutting depth set in the programme.
  • Signs and logos — the cutter is suitable for decorative signs, name tags, logos, and larger decorative inscriptions. For very small text, narrower tip angles are more suitable.
  • Ten pieces — when working for a longer period, you have spare cutters with the same parameters on hand. After replacing a worn piece, you continue with the same tool as before, and the engraving result remains consistent.
  • Package contents — 10x engraving V-cutter 60° x 0.2 mm.

Pyramid engraving cutters 60° x 0.2 mm are suitable for engravings where you want a pronounced line and at the same time a sturdier tip. The wide angle creates a clear V-shaped groove even at a shallow cutting depth. Three-flute cutters made of carbide have a length of 30 mm and are clamped with a 3.175 mm shank into CNC milling machines and engraving machines. Ten identical pieces in the pack are sufficient for longer work and for replacing a worn cutter. You will use them when making signs, logos, name tags, and decorative inscriptions.
