Overview
Passion Fruit Seeds Yellow Passiflora edulis flavicarpa 100 pcs Climbing Vine with Edible Yellow Fruits and White Flowers For Greenhouse and Support

Passiflora edulis f. flavicarpa, yellow-fruited passion fruit, is a tropical climbing passion flower cultivated for its delicious yellow fruits. The round fruits ripen from green to bright yellow and hide aromatic pulp full of seeds, as clearly shown in the image with both green and ripe yellow fruit. The fruits are edible and have a refreshing sweet and sour taste. The plant blooms with striking white flowers featuring a purple crown and climbs using tendrils, making it easy to cover a support. The pack contains 100 seeds, providing a substantial supply for larger sowings. It can be grown in a pot with support, in a greenhouse, or a conservatory.

Key features:

  • Edible yellow fruits — round fruits ripen to bright yellow and are edible, featuring aromatic pulp with a refreshing sweet and sour taste, suitable for direct consumption or in beverages.
  • White flowers with a purple crown — the plant blooms with striking white flowers adorned with a purple crown made of thin threads, which are the main ornamental feature during flowering, as shown in the image.
  • Yellow-fruited form flavicarpa — tropical form of edible passion flower with yellow fruits, which you can grow from seed and eventually harvest your own crop.
  • Climbing vine — the plant climbs using tendrils and produces long climbing shoots, which are suitable for training along a support, trellis, or pergola.
  • Pot cultivation — the plant can be grown in a pot with support and can be placed in a greenhouse, conservatory, or a sheltered outdoor location depending on space.
  • Utility and ornamental — in addition to its tasty fruits, the plant blooms with striking passion flowers, thus combining utility with ornamental value.
  • Palmatifid leaves — the plant has lush green palmatifid leaves that give the vine a dense appearance and complement its flowers and fruits.
  • Pack of 100 seeds — the large pack is intended for larger sowings, growing a greater number of plants, repeated sowings, and sharing with other growers.
  • Growing from seeds — you have full control over the entire development of the plant from germination to fruit harvest, allowing you to observe every stage of growth and flowering.
  • Suitable for support — thanks to the tendrils, it easily covers a trellis, lattice, or pergola, serving as a natural green screen in the greenhouse.
