Overview
Passion Fruit Seeds Passiflora mollissima 100 pcs Climbing Vine with Elongated Yellow Edible Fruits For Greenhouse and Support

Passiflora mollissima, also known as tarminiana, curuba or passion fruit, is a climbing vine cultivated for its tasty edible fruits. The elongated fruits resemble a small banana in shape, featuring a yellow skin and an orange aromatic pulp full of seeds, as clearly shown in the image of the sliced fruit. The fruits are edible and have a refreshing tart flavour, particularly popular in juices and beverages. The plant climbs using tendrils and easily covers supports. The pack contains 100 seeds, providing a substantial supply for larger sowings. It is grown in pots with support, in greenhouses or conservatories.

Key features:

  • Elongated yellow edible fruits — the fruits resemble a small banana in shape, have a yellow skin and are edible, hiding an orange aromatic pulp full of seeds inside.
  • Aromatic tart flavour — the orange pulp has a refreshing tart flavour, particularly popular in juices, drinks and desserts.
  • Curuba passion fruit — this species belongs to the Andean passion fruits of the curuba group, which you can grow from seeds and harvest your own fruits.
  • Climbing vine — the plant climbs using tendrils and creates long climbing shoots, which are suitable to guide along supports, trellises or pergolas.
  • Pot cultivation — the plant can be grown in a pot with support and can be placed in a greenhouse, conservatory or a sheltered outdoor location depending on space.
  • Both useful and ornamental — in addition to its tasty fruits, the plant blooms with striking pink flowers, thus combining utility with ornamental value.
  • Pack of 100 seeds — the large pack is intended for larger sowings, growing a greater number of plants, repeated sowings over several seasons, and sharing with other growers.
  • Growing from seeds — you have full control over the entire development of the plant from germination to fruit harvest, allowing you to observe every phase of growth and flowering.
  • Suitable for support — thanks to its tendrils, it easily covers a trellis, lattice or pergola, thus serving as a natural green screen in the greenhouse.
